ADOPTED NEIGHBOURHOOD GOVERNMENT SCHOOL

CHlREC has adopted the local Government Upper Primary School at MaseedBanda.

Old make-shift toilets were dismantled and new standard toilets for girls boys and staff were constructed.

A new septic tank is in the process of being constructed.

At the start of the new academic session, this year, all of the 450 students were gifted school bags, books, pencil boxes, colour pencils etc, to excitedly look-forward to going to school.

We have exclusively appointed a teacher who facilitates teaching English as 3rd language in coordination with her CHIREC counter parts.

Many areas have been identified that could improve the standard of the school. A proposal in the pipe line will provide them with foot wear, drinking water, library books, computers, furniture, tube lights and fans, in the nearest future.

A substantial amount has been earmarked and allocated specially for the up gradation of the existing school building, as well as help in the construction of a class room in their new building under construction.

Our students are encouraged to give back to the society through several social and community service projects. They are also sent for community work to empathise with the people not so fortunate as them.
