The Happy Prince because of the selflessness that the Prince and the Swallow portray. Both of them come together at a crucial moment and their sacrifice is the ultimate one. The reason why they do so, is to bring happiness to others.

The Happy Prince is a moving and evergreen story by Oscar Wilde. It is the story of a profound friendship between a swallow and a statue of a prince covered with precious jewels. This friendship evolves into love and they become bittersweet accomplices. When he was alive the prince had never known of such poverty having always lived happily within the impassable walls of the castle. But as a statue on a tall column, he is able to see the other face of life. In spite of the impending arrival of winter, the swallow stays to help the prince distribute his riches to the poor and disinherited of the city.
