AS SENIORS!

Reporter Tarini bursts with excitement like all other students as she writes about the 6th grade:

Back to School, everybody! It’s giving us all a happy, fun feeling but also an ‘Oh! Well….back to normal routine and work!’ feeling. The holidays were very relaxing and everybody had loads of fun. Whether you loafed around at home or went out of station during your holidays, we hope you had as great, relaxing holidays as we did. Well, just as school is back , so are we, Grapevine. Grapevine is back with a few good as well as not so good changes. Firstly, Grapevine is very happy to be able to extend to all four sections of 6th grade. Secondly, the frequency of Grapevine has decreased to one issue per term. This is just because it is more difficult to bring out a magazine monthly, as, we have lots more work at school and we also have exams as responsible 6th graders.

Well, we would like to share a little feedback which we got from our teachers and parents as to why we have been shuffled and how to handle it. So , a few good points about being shuffled is that we can stay in touch with our old friends as well as make new ones and then introduce your new friends to your old ones and you’ll have lots more friends. This is also a valuable lesson in life, to be able to fit in with all kinds of people and to be able to see the positive qualities in an individual instead of only finding fault. Actually, once you think about it, shuffling and coming to a new section and meeting new people seems quite fun. Just as the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa girl- Aditi thought, she loved meeting new people and making new friends.

As well as shuffling, we also have a lot more changes to go through. Like becoming the youngest class in our new assembly from being the oldest in our Junior- block assembly. We also have a separate teacher for each subject now. We have longer school hours and lots more studying to do because of exams! Well let’s just hope all of us do well in our exams! My friend, Annika has listed a few ways to pass exams with good marks, below:

  1. Always think positive like “I will try hard to get an A+.”And remember, do not let a negative thought enter your head!!
  1. Get a good night sleep.

  2. Relax before studying so that you have a clear, calm and cool mind before starting to study.
