• From a modest beginning as a Nursery school in 1989, CHIREC has established itself into a full- fledged public school.
  
  
• CHIREC is an acronym for Children’s Recreation Centre.
  
  
• CHIREC has trodden a path not dared by many. Twenty two years and many accolades later, we hold our heads high as an acclaimed trendsetter in education.

As we go down memory lane......

• In April 1989, a unique summer camp was started by CHIREC which offered professional coaching in fine arts, performing arts, computers, various indoor and outdoor sports, all under one roof for children between 3 and 12 years of age.
  
  
• In June 1989, the Nursery School was established which was highly appreciated by children, parents and educationists.
  
  
• 1993 : CHIREC expanded to two branches - Jubilee Hills and Begumpet to accommodate the swelling numbers.

• 1996 : Inauguration of Integrated Campus by the then Chief Minister, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu.
  
  A sprawling campus of 6 acres located at Kondapur.
  
  The classes held here were from Nursery to Class VI and each year new classes were added.

• 2001 : 1st batch of CBSE Class X graduated out with exemplary results.

• 2004 : Senior Secondary classes were introduced. New Jubilee Hills Branch exclusively for Pre-Primary was inaugurated.

• 2008......CHIREC celebrated 20 years of its existence.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Students create a logo and wrote the lyrics for the new school song.
  CHIREC hosted 20 events throughout the year involving students, parents, teachers and the community.
  
  The first of such events was the Inter School Cultural, Literary and Sports Extravaganza which spanned two days the 28th and 29th November 2008.
  The theme for this event was 'Synergize to Succeed '.
  This Interschool meet was unique because the participants from schools around Hyderabad were reorganized in such a way that each team comprised of members from different schools.

• 2009 : CHIREC continued its pioneering journey by introducing the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) for classes I to IV from the academic session 2009-2010.
  
  
• 2010 : Inauguration of the new Cambridge wing with state of the art infrastructure.

  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  

• 2011: Introduction of Cambridge A/AS Levels for Grade XI and XII. Pursing authorization to deliver International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, IBDP by the academic year 2012.
