In the Secondary Programme the focus is gradually shifted towards academically oriented activities in order to prepare the students for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Examination (IGCSE).
Cambridge Secondary 2 programmme is for standards IX and X. [This course will be available from 2012 onwards].
It has the following features.
- Two year Cambridge University curriculum.
- Learner-centred and enquiry-based approaches to learning.
- It develops learners’ skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving, giving learners excellent preparation for the next stage in their education.
- Clearly defined learning outcomes and content,
- Compatible with other curricula.
- Internationally relevant and sensitive to different needs and culture.
The Cambridge Secondary 2 curriculum places emphasis on broad and balanced study across a wide range of subjects.
The curriculum develops learners' skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving and is structured so that learners attain both practical skills and theoretical knowledge .
