The Secondary programme is more formal in its structure.

The transition from the primary stage is carefully planned so that the students develop the habit of systematic work.

Students of Classes VI to X learn through activity based assignments, hands on activities and projects. The use of technology and research is encouraged.

From Grade VIII onwards the emphasis is more toward academics and students can choose any one indoor or outdoor activity.

We ensure complete integration of Academics and Activities within the programme.

 

  • Evaluation of performances is continuous and Comprehensive.
  • Assessment has got two components - Formative and Summative
  • Formative Assessment comprises evaluation for all necessary skills, through class works, assignments, projects, etc.
  • For classes VI – X, it comprises 40% of the total percentage.
  • Summative Assessments are written examinations, held at the end of each term.
  • For classes VI – X, it comprises 60% of the total percentage.
  • Grades are awarded and not marks, in compliance with the guidelines from CBSE.
  • Summative Assessment is specific for each subject.
  • Students of class IX and X are assessed by the pen and paper test [SA II] conducted by CBSE.
