• What is the advantage of CIE program?
  • Ans- The advantage is having the best of two worlds - an International curriculum within an Indian framework.
    
    
• Which classes are being offered CIE program?
  • Ans- One section each in classes I to V.
    
    
• How many vacancies will be available?
  • Ans- 26 in each section.
    
    
• Can the present CBSE CHIREC students apply for a change to CIE?
  • Ans- The first preference of seats will be to the present CHIREC students. Other vacancies will be filled by new applicants.
    
    
• Is there a difference in fees?
  • Ans- Yes   (Please contact Finance Manager for details (email id : accounts@chirec.com).
    
    
• What are the subjects?
  • Ans- English, Mathematics & Science will be Cambridge curriculum.
    The Social Science component of existing EVS will be taught as Social Science.
    2nd Languages offered will be – Hindi/French.
    
    
• What about the rest of the academic program ?
  • Ans- It will remain the same as the existing CHIREC CBSE program.
    
    
• Will the student be allowed to change back to CBSE ?
  
  • Ans- It is preferable that the child continues in the same stream till class X.
    
    
• What is the validity of CIE among other boards in the country?
  • Ans- CIE is recognized by COBSE (Council of Boards of Secondary Education) and also by Association of Indian Universities.
    
    
• Can a student write the IIT Entrance exams and Common Entrance Exams after Cambridge ‘A’ Levels?
  • Ans- Yes
